Baal Samrakshan Batika
Bilingual school site, parent portal and a signed Android app for an inclusive school in Lalitpur.

The problem
An unusual academic model that was being misdescribed. The school teaches with ITPM and 5E strategies and uses continuous assessment instead of exams through Class 5 — details that generic school-website templates get wrong, and that matter enormously to the parents choosing it.
What we did
SAVES English Medium School needed a site that explained what it actually does, in both languages its parents read. We built every public page in full English and Nepali, with Devanagari typography that renders correctly on the low-end Android phones most parents use. Behind the public site sits a portal where parents, students and teachers sign in for announcements and school information — and the same codebase ships as an installable Android app, so parents who live in the app rather than the browser still get in.
What we built
- Complete English and Nepali translation across every public page
- Parent, student and teacher portal with an announcements feed
- Devanagari-subset fonts self-hosted for fast mobile loading
- Accurate description of the ITPM and continuous-assessment model
Beyond the website
A signed native Android app plus an installable PWA, both built from the same codebase as the website — one project, three ways in.
