Sight Savers Eye Clinic
Clinic website plus a working ophthalmology EMR with patient records, prescriptions and printable Rx.

The problem
Patient records kept on paper. Finding a returning patient's history meant searching a file cabinet, and prescriptions were handwritten each visit.
What we did
Sight Savers is an eye clinic and optical shop in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur. The public website was the smaller half of this project. The real work was a genuine electronic medical record system for the practice: patient registration, visit histories, refraction and diagnosis capture, and prescriptions that print correctly onto the clinic's own stationery. Access is role-separated so reception staff and clinicians see appropriate views, and the public pages are CMS-managed so the clinic can change its own copy without calling a developer.
What we built
- Ophthalmology EMR with patient records and full visit history
- Refraction and diagnosis capture built around how the clinic actually works
- Prescriptions formatted to print on the clinic's existing stationery
- Role-separated access for reception and clinicians
- CMS-managed public pages
Beyond the website
The EMR is the product. The website is the front door to a records system the clinic runs every day.
