Data-recovery lab site with online booking, a bilingual front end and a CMS the lab runs entirely itself.
The problem
Enquiries arriving by phone during working hours only, each one written on paper. A customer with a failed drive at 11pm had nowhere to go, and the lab had no record of who was waiting or what device they were bringing in.
What we did
Data Recovery Center is a hard-drive, SSD and RAID recovery lab in Kathmandu. The site does two jobs: it has to convince someone whose life's work is on a dead disk that this lab can be trusted, and it has to capture that job at the moment they decide. Bookings are taken online and written to the database, so a case exists before the customer arrives. Every word on the public site — services, pricing, gallery, blog, contact details, opening hours — is editable by the lab in the admin at /admin, in both English and Nepali, without calling us. The schema is applied through tracked migrations rather than auto-push, so a deploy can never quietly reshape a table holding live bookings.
What we built
- Online diagnosis booking, written straight to the database
- Full English and Nepali front end with per-field translations
- Every page, price and business setting editable in the admin
- Newsletter subscriptions and enquiries persisted, not emailed into a void
- Forward-only SQL migrations so production schema changes are auditable
Beyond the website
A complete content and booking back office — the lab publishes its own pages and works its own enquiry queue.
