World Wide Trade Links
Bilingual B2B catalogue for a Kathmandu trading house that exports Himalayan craft and imports consumer goods.

The problem
A trading house shipping to buyers in 38 countries was quoting everything by hand. A buyer abroad could not see a minimum order or a lead time before writing in, and buyers in Nepal had nothing to read in Nepali.
What we did
World Wide Trade Links has traded out of Kathmandu since 2004, sending pashmina, singing bowls, thangka and Patan bronze to wholesale buyers abroad and bringing goods from Thailand, Taiwan and elsewhere into Nepal. The site is built the way that business actually sells: every product carries its minimum order quantity and production lead time, exports and imports are separate catalogues, and the WhatsApp button on each product opens a chat with the product already named, because that is where every quote starts. The whole site runs in English and Nepali from one codebase. Products, categories and company details are edited in Payload CMS, in both languages side by side, so staff add a new import line without a developer. A five-step page explains the process from first message to delivery, and a journal carries longer articles for buyers researching Nepali craft.
What we built
- Full English and Nepali editions, switchable on every page
- MOQ and lead time on every product, exports and imports kept apart
- WhatsApp quote button that names the product before the buyer types
- Products, categories and company details editable in Payload CMS
- Journal, trade-show and process pages for buyers doing their research
- Light and dark themes, with a navy and red palette taken from the logo
Beyond the website
A content system the client runs themselves: catalogue, categories and company details in two languages from one admin.
