Sintech Nepal

Product catalogue for a security and networking distributor, fed live from the dealer portal we also built.

The problem

The old site was a hand-edited product list that fell behind the warehouse within weeks. Installers rang the office to ask whether a model existed, where the driver was, or how to set it up.

What we did

Sintech distributes CCTV, networking, access control and attendance hardware across Nepal. The new site is organised the way a manufacturer thinks about its range: four pillars, sixteen product families, then ranges and models. The catalogue is not typed in twice — it syncs from the Sintech dealer portal through a private feed, and prices never leave the portal, because dealers and walk-in customers pay different amounts and the public site is not the place to show either. Staff add YouTube tutorials and driver downloads from a stripped-down admin, and anything attached to a category shows up on every product in it. The old site's 465 addresses redirect to their new homes, so existing Google rankings carried over on launch day.

What we built

  • About 450 products in 16 families, synced from the dealer portal
  • No prices on the public site, enforced in the data layer
  • Tutorials and driver downloads, attachable per product or per category
  • Enquiries land in the admin with call and WhatsApp buttons
  • 465 redirects from the old site, so no search ranking was lost

Beyond the website

A second face on the Sintech platform: the same catalogue the dealers order from, published for the public without the prices.
